About Posh Boats
Posh Boats was established in 2006 by Dan Wickham and Will Heath.
After a number of summers on or around the Broads, they noticed a gap in the market to provide high quality boats to the discerning holidaymaker. For the customer, this would be akin to staying in a small luxury hotel on the water, with state of the art entertainment and luxurious decor/surroundings.
The Norfolk Broads National Park offers a huge source of pleasure to all of its visitors, so Dan and Will felt these luxury craft would help make the experience an unforgettable one.
Currently the operation is focussed on the Norfolk Broads and was recently taken over by the famous Horning Ferry Marina owned by Len Funnell and family. Len has been operating high class cruisers for over 30 years. After moving to Norfolk from Grimsby he built up and modernised such well known yards as Herbert Woods and Faircraft Loynes.
Len retired and sold up in 2004 but after getting itchy feet he bought and redeveloped two of the broads fastest growing and luxury marinas in the form of Waveney River Centre and Horning Ferry Marina with a view to making them the best on the broads.
